The Arash Motor Company has been developing supercars with distinctive and individual character since 1999.
“…the British Arash AF8 was built using composite tooling manufactured at Formaplex. ”
And the British Arash AF8 was built using composite tooling manufactured at Formaplex. The AF8 is 90% carbon.
It has a carbon hybrid monocoque chassis and the interior and sub-assemblies including the air ducts and air-con ducts are carbon. Arash required a trusted partner to produce the cost-effective pattern tooling for the production of body panels.
We created the pattern tooling by machining MDF block to the required geometry and then sealing with epoxy paint. For the production of the initial prototype this solution was the ideal balance of cost and performance and our expertise resulted in the completion of the pioneering AF8.
