Our state-of-the-art composite manufacturing and moulding facility operates 24/7 at our Horndean site. It’s where our highly trained and experienced specialists have an eye on every detail, working to the most exacting standards.

For bespoke requirements, our high-performance composite manufacturing solutions and operations are all designed to meet your individual challenges.

We have the technology and equipment to deliver results for a wide range of applications including 5x autoclaves, ranging from 1m x 2m to 3m x 6m.

We work closely with a carefully selected number of trusted materials suppliers who share our attention to detail in the supply of materials for a large number of applications.

Carbon fibre

Carbon fibre composites offer a perfect combination of high specific tensile strength and low weight. As lightweighting requirements gather pace across sectors, carbon fibre is being used more extensively to replace metal parts. We work with our customers’ design teams to provide the right solution, whether it’s a structural requirement or a highly aesthetic visual part.

Glass fibre

Glass fibre composites provide a lower cost alternative to carbon fibre with a lower specific strength and RF transmissibility benefits.

Bio composites

Bio composites are sourced from organically grown stock, such as flax and jute, and can be combined with sugar-based resin systems.

Composite mould tools

Mould tools are designed and made in-house using autoclave and out of autoclave carbon and glass fibre solutions.

Prepreg laminating

We provide composite prepreg solutions supported by 5 cleanrooms and 5 autoclaves ranging from 1m x 2m to 3m x 6m.

Compression moulding

Our 400t and 600t vertical presses are producing higher volume production composite components in low-cycle times, including carbon-SMC, prepreg and wet-pressed recycled carbon fibre.

Resin infusion

Out-of-autoclave moulding solutions include resin infusion for applications that require a low-volume low-cost solution.

Glass fibre

Glass fibre composites provide a lower cost and tougher alternative to carbon fibre with a marginal weight penalty.

With in house tooling block machining we are able to rapidly produce direct composite mould tools. We are regularly delivering high quality prototype composite and 3D printed parts to our customers’ mule build programmes.

Manufacture

Our composite manufacturing facilities deliver high quality structural and aesthetic components. If you require autoclave cured prepreg, compression moulded or infused parts, we have the process you need.

Finish

All composite parts are through process checked to the highest standards. Our highly skilled assembly and coatings teams ensure the most stringent customer requirements are achieved. Whether primed, painted, gloss or satin lacquered, we have the finishing process that you need. Get your composites components finished to the highest quality to meet the most demanding specifications. We can paint, polish, and seal products before the final quality check.

We can deliver your components directly to you ready to fit or we can tie in with your own collection system. Just let us know which you prefer and we will make it happen.
